Hormone Therapy (HT)

Compounded hormone replacement therapy is the use of supplemental doses of steroid hormones with a chemical structure identical to endogenous human hormones (hormones naturally produced in the human body). These hormones are chemically synthesized so as to be identical to the endogenous hormones of the human body: estradiol, estrone, estriol, progesterone, and testosterone.
